In addition to the scientific training through education, training and research, BUILD Dairy students are encouraged by their professors to participate in a leadership program around dairy technology while completing their graduate program. This includes monthly Webex meetings (attending and making presentations), semi-annual and annual written reports on their progress through program (including their research), and making oral reports at the annual BUILD Dairy meeting.
To get involved as a professor:
- Agree to foster student's involvement in the BUILD Dairy program involving monthly Webex meetings, semi-annual, annual and final written reports on their progress through their program (including research), and making oral reports at the annual BUILD Dairy meeting
- Contact the Western Dairy Center at firstname.lastname@example.org to complete faculty supervisor form
- Participate in semi-annual and annual meetings
- Participate in monthly BUILD Dairy Webex meetings
